The Childe Secret Gig hits Sydney this Thursday, November 14 at Tokyo Sing Song, Newtown.

Featuring 2 of Australia's best emerging live acts - the sensational indie-pop groovers Tuppaware Party join post-punk rock'n'rollers Flight to Dubai for an intimately outrageous rager.

Tokyo Sing Song - known as the Glitter Den or the Rave Cave within the Marly Hotel Newtown will be transformed into a rock'n'roll RAGER. Complimented by Young Henrys schooners for a night of rock n roll mayhem.

Tuppaware Party represent a suburban dystopia. Like a nail bomb wrapped in bubble gum and fairy floss. Hailing from Cronulla, hidden away in Sydney's south, I see Tuppaware Party as a twisted embodiment of the area. A kind of "everything's fine here" mask put on for the outside world in a bid to hide the darker inner-workings of the suburban town. Tuppaware Party give listeners a glimpse into this world, with a hint of teenage nostalgia, theatre and at points, borderline insanity.

You might know their killer track "We are the Ones" from last year. Rumour has it they have new music coming out very soon which will be previewed on Thursday night.

Flight to Dubai are the new punk rockers on the block. Hailing from Newcastle and now residing in Sydney town. Explosive frontman Matt has a searing vocal set ranging from Glen Danzig Misfit to moody Joy Division. He hits you hard with his vocal energy with backing by a killer line up of rock n roll musicians that enable the Flight to Dubai to deliver an epic roller coaster ride of post-punk rock and roll.
