Every Childe frame is made from carefully selected materials chosen for comfort, performance and long-term wear. Most of our collection is now handcrafted from premium bio-acetate and complimented with plant-based bio lenses

CONSIDERED FRAME MATERIALS

The majority of Childe frames are handcrafted from bio-acetate made with renewable wood and cotton pulp fibres, bound using plant-based compounds. Selected styles are made from lightweight plant-based Grilamid or premium titanium.

PLANT-BASED BIO LENSES

Premium lightweight lenses made partly from renewable castor-oil compounds, offering 100% UV protection with both polarised and non-polarised options.

VISOTTICA HINGES

Premium stainless-steel hardware selected for strength, flexibility and a secure, comfortable fit.
