New moon and stuff this week... In case you haven't heard. Changes coming. Planets drinking Powerade or something? Not sure. One things not changing though, theres still plenty of excellent live music on in your area and the beers will be cold. Here's some suggestions. Be careful of werewolves out there!
Skegss w/ Totty, Mini Skirt
Here we go again. Weekend two of the huge national Skegss tour is kicking off on Thursday night in the church state. After a weekend off re-charging batteries and trying to stay off the beers post an absolute belter in Fremantle, the tour wagon is hopefully well rested and ready to pop off. Also hitting Sydney this weekend for two back to back sold out shows at the Enmore, its going to be big!
Thursday, July 4 - Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
Saturday, July 6 - Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Sunday, July 7 - Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Honey Hayze w/ Sloan Peterson + Jesse Redwing, Leroy Francis, Garage Sale
Uh-oh.... Bondi's finest cyclone is hitting Byron Bay this weekend. Some of the best acts out of Eastern Sydney are heading North (and further East) to put on what will no doubt be one hell of a show at The Northern. Honey Hayze are heading toward Sloan and blues ripping boyfie will be joining Honey Hayze as well as Indie man Leroy Francis. Throw in young local lads Garage Sale and you've got yourself a recipe for some serious arm bending and head nodding.
Saturday, July 6 - The Northern, Byron Bay
The Grogans
Melbourne surf rock three-piece The Grogans kick off their national tour this weekend with a couple of hometown shows. With a new release and a couple years on the gig circuit this will be their biggest run of shows yet. With a diverse sound ranging from dreamy Indie-soaked beach vibes to hair-flicking, arm-flailing surf punk, these lads have got you covered.
Friday, July 5 - Workers Club, Melbourne
Saturday, July 6 - Gods Kitchen, Mornington
Pist Idiots w/ 100
The big bad Revesby boys are all over the shop this weekend for the final two shows of their massive Motor Runnin' tour. Hitting Adelaide hard and the booting off the WA to wrap up what has been an undoubtedly ground-shaking and back-breaking few weeks. If you're over in WA and haven't been lucky enough to cop these guys yet, get a long to the show and find out what all the noise is about!
Friday, July 5 - Rocket Bar, Adelaide
Saturday, July 6 - The Sewing Room, Perth
