THE PERSON

Meet Ambre

Ambre-Victoire Damestoy is a French longboarder and movement artist whose style in the water is shaped by a background in dance. 

Elegant, expressive and unmistakably her own, she sees longboarding as another form of movement - a way to dance with the ocean.

A winner of the 2022 Vans Joel Tudor Duct Tape Invitational in South Africa, Ambre brings together surfing, dance, yoga and creative collaboration. Whether on a board or away from the water, her world is built around movement, individuality and self-expression.
