With retail closed and access to suppliers and manufactures here and abroad limited, our Aussie comrades have been faced with the challenge of a lifetime just to keep their heads afloat. Livelihoods of designers, makers, dyers, producers, models and photographers alike have all been threatened when our industry ground to a halt earlier last year. As they find their feet and begin to navigate this new landscape, it is more important than ever that we support Aussie's first.

By partnering with @threadtogether, the #WeWearAustralian initiative, launched in 2020 by Showroom-X, provides two-way relief. Australian brands are given a vehicle to donate aged and excess inventory to a deserving cause, helping to dress impoverished families who have had it tougher than anyone during the COVID-19 pandemic while also providing a platform to showcase these brands and allow consumers to support our local industry right now, when it needs us most, ensuring it can continue to produce the incredible brands that make us proud to be Aussie.
