CHILDE | Gig Guide June 13

Gig-goers unite, there is many a live music event to wet your whistle and sweat your sweat at this weekend. Here's some highlights:

Floodlights w/ Electric Toothbrush + Gamjee

Floodlights have come out of the gates hard with a ripper first EP "Backyard" and they want to celebrate it's release with you all in Melbourne this weekend. With a uniquely Australian sound that makes you want to get in your car with a dog and take off on a trip around this enormous mass of land we live on, Floodlights have really nailed their genre. Playing with Electric Toothbrush and Gamjee, it's set to be a ripper night of strummy guitars, toe-tapping RM Williams, head swaying and maybe even a couple of harmonica cameos.

Saturday, June 15 @ The Toff, Melbourne

The Chats w/ Crocodylus

Queensland Princes of pub rock are playing a home(ish) game on Friday night that is sure to rock the Brisbane Valley to it's core. Bringing Crocodylus along with them they're also hitting our quiet little coastal town (lol) Byron Bay to light up the infamous Byron Bay Brewery with 'dylus as well as local lads No Parade. It's shaping up to be a belter. If you don't have tickets to the Byron show, hit our Instagram for details on how to get some!

Friday, June 14 @ Brightside Bar, Brisbane

Saturday, June 15 @ Byron Bay Brewery, Byron Bay

Honey Hayze w/ Love Drunk Hearts

The boys from Bondi are back for the third show of their tour. Crossing the bridge for a gig on the North side of Sydney. They'll be bringing good vibes and good tunes for your Friday evening, so if your on the North side, make sure you get around it! They've also got a ripper new video that'll give you a bloody good idea of what will be going down.

Friday, June 14 @ Park House, Mona Vale

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets w/ Raave Tapes

A whole lot of shows this weekend from one of the best band names in Australian music. The Psychedelic Porn Crumpets are hitting three states in three days with Newcastle legends Raave Tapes. Both of these bands have been getting a lot of well deserved attention, here and overseas, so you best believe the hype and get along to a show this weekend.
